How is this different from a recruitment agency?
Recruitment agencies typically charge 15–25% of first-year salary ($12,000–$25,000 for a typical role). We charge 5% of first-year salary, with an $1,800 minimum and a $6,000 cap — so you’re getting the same outcome (a vetted shortlist) at a fraction of the cost. The trade-off: we use AI to do most of the screening work, with human verification on the top candidates.
How is this different from your standard job posting?
With our $149 job post, you get distribution and we send you the applications — you do the screening. With Shortlisting, we handle the entire screening process and deliver only the 5 best candidates ready to interview. It’s a different service for a different need.
What if none of the 5 candidates work out?
You don’t pay. The fee is only triggered if you actually hire someone from the shortlist. If your hire doesn’t work out in the first 30 days, we’ll re-shortlist for the same role at no additional success fee.
Where do you post my role?
Your role goes live across JobSearch and our partner network, which puts it in front of active Australian job seekers. You don’t need to manage multiple ads — we coordinate everything.
Can I run my own SEEK or Indeed ad alongside your service?
Yes. Many of our customers already have an ad running on SEEK or Indeed when they brief us. Just let us know in the brief and we’ll coordinate — we’ll screen any candidates who come to us through our network, and you can forward applicants from your own ads to us if you’d like them screened too. There’s no exclusivity requirement.
Who actually does the screening?
A combination of AI (initial CV ranking against your brief) and our hiring team (verification calls with top candidates and final shortlist quality control). You’re not getting an automated black box — there’s a human accountable for every shortlist we send.
How long does it take?
72 hours from when your role goes live. For urgent hires we can sometimes turn around faster — let us know in the brief.
